welcome visitors
We are a church who welcomes new people, young and old, from any walk of life.

Whether you are looking for a new church to be a part of or will be entering a church for the very first time, you are WELCOME here. No matter your reason for visiting El Paso First Church of the Nazarene, we are so glad you will be! We want to help make your visit as enjoyable and un-intimidating as possible. We realize it’s not easy visiting a place where you don’t know anyone or only know a couple of people. Two things to know about our church: we aren’t a mega church where you will get lost in the crowd and our church congregation is very warm and friendly. You will quickly make a connection as soon as you walk in the front doors. You will be greeted by our pastor (Alex) and his wife (Melissa) as well as other folks who are mingling in the foyer. You will receive many smiles and hellos.

English & Spanish
We are a bi-lingual congregation and our services are spoken in Spanish and English.
Once the service begins, feel free to sit wherever you feel most comfortable (front, back side, middle…doesn’t matter to us). We’re just glad you’re here! Our service opens with a welcome from Pastor Alex and some announcements. Then we begin worshiping God through music and singing. Our worship songs are sung in both English and Spanish, alternating languages with every other verse and chorus. During worship, we have a time where we greet one another. We are confident you will be welcomed by many people. After worship through song has completed, we worship through the giving of our tithes and offerings. There is no pressure for visitors to give money. Only do so if you feel compelled to give. Tithes and offerings helps to cover operating costs of the church building and help us support our pastor.
Pastor Alex preaches his sermons in both English and Spanish. He translates for himself as he preaches. You will learn about God’s love and grace and how to grow closer to Him.
Teaching & Learning
Our ministries include Sunday School, Children's Church, Nursery & Wednesday Bible Study
During our Sunday Service, the children are prayed for and dismissed to Children's Church where they will study scripture in a way that they can easily understand. Also during our services there is a nursery available for babies and toddlers. Parents can stay with their children in the nursery or leave them in the care of our nursery worker.

Sharing Meals Together
Sunday Potlucks
We understand that a healthy church congregation starts with friendship. Sometimes it’s difficult getting to know people when we don’t stay very long after the service. That’s why we host Sunday Potlucks once a month. To provide time and space for us all to get to know each other better. Eating a meal together is one of the best ways to build relationship…Jesus did this with his disciples.
We hope to see you soon!
